A decorative plan of the town and port of Ambon on the island of the same name in the Moluccas (Maluku) or Spice Islands. At the time the map was made, Ambon was part of the Dutch East Indies. The key on the left hand side identifies 41 locations. A compass rose in the lower part of the map orients the map as facing towards the south east.
