London Transport - Diagram of lines - Number 2 1974 [874/2355M/1000M] by Paul E. Garbutt (No. 2 - 1974 (August 1974)). Vintage diagram of lines pocket map issued by London Transport, 14.5 x 22.0cm, 5.75 x 8.5 inches; Please note that this is a folding map.

There is a note that Strand Station is closed for rebuilding, and a red cross overprint on the station name also indicates the closure. All the station names on this map have been capitalised (prior to 1973 only the first letter was capitalised), and the title 'The London Underground' has been added to the key. The escalator link between Bank and Monument Stations is shown as a vertical zig zag because of the larger area inside the Circle line. The Bakerloo line between Queens Park and Watford Junction is shown as a brown and white line indicating a peak hours service only. The Victoria Line is shown as complete through to Brixton. The roundels are plain red both on the map itself and on the front cover. On this edition of the Underground map Blake Hall Station is only closed on Sundays instead of Saturdays and Sundays as shown on the No 1, 1974 edition of the diagram.
